I live in Raleigh NC and have a bermuda lawn (not sure what type, probably the cheapest builder grade) the grass is mostly medium to dark green but there are very defined areas of a light green. The yard is 3 years old and this color variance occurs every year in the same locations?

Also, without taking up the original turf can I seed or plug the lawn with a top of the lime bermuda (ie; Princess or Tiffway 2 to grow a better lawn?
