Can I dry ornamental grasses?

Ornamental grasses make excellent dried flowers. The plumes of taller grasses can be used as dried flowers indoors. Cut the plumes and hang them in a dry place for about 5 weeks before putting them in a vase indoors.

I dried the plumes & some leaf stalks from zebra grass last year. They did not shed, and have made a tall, striking display in a vase. They still look great, and I'll do some more this year.
